This resource has been developed as part of a mini drama study based on Toys. This covers minimum two separate sessions with links to literacy, music as well as Health and Wellbeing. This is specifically directed at P1/2 stages. Included in the resource are descriptors of a selection of warm up drama games and activities, an original rap song and lesson plan outlines. This booklet is designed to be used during the busy December month, when often it is difficult to keep the pupils engaged and still learning! This topic planner and display resources are for use with a cross curricular study with a focus on Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K Rowling. All of the signs and display material requires the font Harry P to be downloaded onto your computer if they are on Word format. I have made a number of posters to explain and showcase the pupils work, in line with suggested lessons in the forward plan. I have now uploaded all display posters as PDFs to enable printing of font without downloading it, excepting any that would require ability to edit. This has been one of the most successful full on cross curricular topics I have done to date in my teaching career and is absolutely loved by all the pupils. UPDATE: I have added in a template in for ‘A Hogwarts Ghost Story’ to the pack as well as a template for using for sending pupils their Hogwarts letters, a set of acrostic poem templates and a final quiz.

Comprehensive mind map style topic plan on Under the Sea for forward planning. This covers early level/EYFS outcomes and also includes an overview planner for Four Contexts for Learning. The bundle also includes a range of accompanying resources; Word bank, literacy and numeracy worksheets and a homework workbook with accompanying parental information letter.

This Endangered Species cross curricular topic planner details the curricular outcomes (ACfE) being targeted as well as lesson ideas and suggestions for each relevant curricular area. This planner is aimed at 2nd Level/KS2 pupils. It also links to the separate topic of the Water Cycle (also available via my shop) and ties the two in together. There are accompanying worksheets on for sale separately to go alongside both topics also. These will all be on sale soon as a bundle. However, both topics would be appropriate as stand alone if desired.

The Famous Inventors Project is one that aims to bring Enterprise in Education together with other curricular areas, focusing on S.T.E.A.M. The purpose of the project is for children to learn about Famous Inventors, select a famous and life changing invention to redevelop and design for use in the future then develop and run a mock business to make and market their product. The project culminates in a day of presentations and pitches, allowing the children to demonstrate their learning over the course of the project. This project not only meets many of the experiences and outcomes of the CfE/NC, but can help children develop towards the four capacities, as well as giving a real and relevant context to their learning with a perceivable goal to work towards. This fully comprehensive project pack gives an easy to use, fun and accessible project for upper stage pupils to enjoy. The document is in PDF format and contains 39 pages, including a full planner/assessment tool, teacher's notes and guidance, lesson outlines and directions as well as a set of appendices and handouts to use during the project.
